Taekwondo at Beijing 2008
Taekwondo competitions at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing will be held from August 20 to August 23. The tournaments will be held at the Beijing Science and Technology University Gymnasium. 8 sets of medals will be awarded in the following events:
The taekwondo competition at the Olympic Games consists of a single elimination tournament with double repechage for 3rd place. The double repechage shall be conducted among all contestants who lost to the two finalists. Each NOC can enter 2 men and 2 women athletes, but only 1 per weight class. The places will be allocated as follows:
