Triathlon at Beijing 2008
Triathlon competition at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing will be held on August 18 and August 19. The tournaments will be held at the Triathlon Venue at the Ming Tomb Resevoir. 2 sets of medals will be awarded in the following events:
The triathlon competition at the Olympic Games consists of a single race, where competitors swim 1500m, cycle for 40km, and run 10,000m. Eight NOCs can have a maximum of 3 athletes in each event, all other NOCs can have a maximum of 2 athletes in each event.
